And, for a fee, you can register at PetAmberAlert.com (Yes it's for Real) or LostMyDoggie.com , which make and distribute posters- complete with your pet's pic and information to local Veterinarians and Animal Shelters. For an additional fee, they'll even call thousands of your neighbors to alert them of your missing pet.
